I am a Registered Psychologist and the founder of Sanctuary Psychology and wellness. I have been working in the mental health field since 2016 and in Service and Facilitation industries since 1990. Over the past five years, I have helped individuals experiencing anxiety and depression; those coping with the effects of childhood neglect, abuse and trauma; persons experiencing grief and loss; as well as individuals exhausted by daily stressors and unexpected life transitions. I utilize strategies from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Attachment-based Therapy; Mindfulness, and EyeMovement Desensitization and Reprocessing, among others.
In my spare time, I enjoy taking my dog for walks in the river valley; exploring new coffee shops and restaurants with friends; spending time with my grandson; and attending community and cultural events.
